Executive Director of Microfinance organization Asian Credit Fund LLC Zhanna Zhakupova participated in the Global SME Finance Forum 2019 “ The Convergence of the Real and Financial Sectors in SME Finance” which was held on 07 – 10 October, 2019 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This year’s forum attracted speakers and leaders from the FinTech and financial services industry; more than 500 international and regional representatives from the SME and financial institution sector who gathered together for knowledge sharing.
During the Forum participants examined the implications of new entrants with substantial data resources and analytical skills on traditional SME financial markets and the strategies adopted by financiers and regulators to cope with the competition. SME Forum also gave opportunity to visit some local peer organizations and learn fintech innovations and best practices in SME banking and non-financial services.
